
The Medical Innova Startup Hackathon 2026 is an international digital health innovation event, co-organized by:
- International Faculty of Medicine of Rabat (UIR)
- African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD)
- University of Technology of Troyes (UTT)
- Moroccan Society for Digital Health (SMSD)
This hackathon will be held alongside the Joint Events: Digital Health and Smart Healthcare.
Training sessions will take place at the UIR Faculty of Medicine in Rabat.
Target Audience
- Students in health, engineering, computer science, and design
- Researchers and PhD candidates
- Innovators with project proposals
- Startups in the e-health sector
Participation
- Teams of 2 to 4 members
- Coordinated by a designated lead member
- Mandatory submission: PowerPoint presentation + 2-minute video

Bootcamp & Support
Shortlisted projects will participate in a hybrid Bootcamp including:
- Design Thinking sessions
- Entrepreneurial coaching
- Scientific mentoring by domain experts
Certified Training
The most promising projects will receive a certified training program on digital transformation, delivered by a leading company in the digital health sector (to be announced soon).
Awards & Prizes
Awards for the winning teams will be announced soon.
They will recognize the relevance, technical quality, societal impact, and innovative nature of the projects.
